To face the next challenges, we are looking for an Head of HR.

Your missions:

As head of the Spanish HR team, your role is to manage the HR team in Barcelona and to organise the processes concerning all HR aspects of the employees' life, from their arrival to their departure. You will be responsible for the HR strategy, the organisation of the team, its operational and financial reporting. You will ensure that HR operations are efficient and that legal constraints are respected. Finally, you will support your teams in the most complex situations and ensure that they develop their skills on a daily basis.

Your tasks:

  • Management of the HR team: you will be responsible for the organization, recruitment, and skills development of the HR teams (8 people in 2021 based in Barcelona)

  • HR management and personnel administration: the HR management team is in charge of onboarding, administration, payroll management, and offboarding of all papernest employees (more than 500 today in Barcelona, in robust growth). You will be responsible for setting up and improving processes/tools, securing legal, social, and administrative aspects, and harmonizing each department's functioning to guarantee the efficiency of HR operations. You will oversee any litigation procedures.

  • Legal & Relations with employee representatives: You will be responsible for organizing the process of representation and negotiation with employee representative bodies to guarantee our legal obligations and the consistency of company policy.

  • Internal communication and culture: you will be the number one point of contact for all HR communication, making proposals, and defining and leading HR and cultural policies to build loyalty and unite the teams.

  • HR Policies and Processes: You will be involved in and support the HR team in implementing and ensuring the application of best practice processes across the business, such as workforce planning, recruitment, workforce review, training and development, career and talent management, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, organizational development, change management, payroll, health, and safety, as well as the roll-out of new global policies

  • Business Partner: You will interact with managers from the different business units to understand and resolve their HR issues

  • Reporting: you will set up and manage all HR reporting for finance, comex, or investors, notably through automated reporting.

Your profile:

  • Business School background

  • You have a proven track record in HR functions, ideally in several aspects of the HR function in Spain.

  • You have knowledge of Spanish labour law and ideally you know the contact centre collective agreement

  • You have a real business sense and are comfortable with operational execution.

  • You are an experienced manager.

  • You have an analytical mind and base your decisions on data. Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) have no secrets for you

  • You are convinced that people are the key to the success of an organisation and you are committed to making life easier for your teams so that everyone can focus on their mission.

  • You are highly organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy challengesY

  • ou have a good start-up culture.

  • You speak English and Spanish, French is a plus

  • Your manager:

    Your manager will be Olivier, our CHRO. He is a confirmed sportsman and a strong freediver.

    He loves to be part of a team that is why he decided to begin a career in human resources after studying law. His professional career is multicultural; he loves to share and learn from all situations that come his way!
