Sales Operations mission is to optimize processes and tools for our call centers, deploy new offers, solve sales problems, and effectively manage provider data to maximize revenues and customer satisfaction. At the intersection of Operations, Product & Tech, and external partners, Sales Operations have a direct impact on revenue, efficiency, and team success.
As the Head of Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping papernest’s growth by optimizing sales processes, tools, and strategies across multiple markets (France, Spain, Italy).
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring you to lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and ensure our sales infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and data-driven.
You will manage an international Sales Ops team of +10 sales ops professionals with permanent contracts, VIEs, and interns based in the Barcelona office. If you love building, optimizing, and leading with impact, this role is for you!
Your missions :
- Lead & grow the sales operations team
- Define and execute the team strategy, roadmap, and objectives to align with company OKRs.
- Mentor and develop the team with a high-performance culture through coaching, support and structured career progression.
- Own HR processes: hiring, performance management, salary reviews, and career growth.
- Act as the final decision-maker on complex operational and technical issues.

Optimize sales processes & technical integrations
- Guide and empower the Sales Operations team to enhance sales efficiency: improve processing time, quality, conversion rates, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Oversee and coordinate all key sales processes and technical infrastructure with the team, ensuring seamless API integrations, data flows, and automation
- Own incident resolution: support the sales team by solving day-to-day operational and technical challenges.
- Drive change management efforts by leading the team in implementing new tools, processes, and provider integrations, with structured documentation, training, and testing.
- Drive Growth & Operational Excellence
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, guiding the team to simplify and automate workflows using lean practices, no-code tools, and technical integrations (Salesforce Flows, MAKE, Zapier, etc.).
- Encourage collaboration and alignment between Sales Operations and cross-functional teams (Operations, Product & Tech, Training, Quality, Sales, external providers).
- Ensure scalability and sustainability, leading the team in designing future-proof sales processes that support business growth.

Own Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Monitor and improve KPIs: own Sales Operations reporting and implement action plans to exceed OKRs.
- Conduct deep-dive data analysis (mastering SQL and Looker Studio) to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.
- Improve contract tracking: ensure smooth execution from initiation to invoicing
- Push the team to achieve excellence with strong routines and high standards providing coaching, methodology and fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
Your profile :

Leadership & Strategic Thinking
- Strong experience in Operations
- Proven experience in leading and scaling high-performing teams (from junior to senior profiles).
- Ability to motivate, challenge, and develop people while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Technical & Analytical Expertise
- Curiosity and a desire to learn, especially in the areas of data and technology
- Be hands-on with tech and proficiency in data analytics and automation
- Knowledge of papernest stack: Salesforce, BigQuery, Looker Studio, GitHub, MAKE, Zapier is a plus
- Knowledge of one or several programming languages: SQL, JSON, Python, Java, HTML is a plus
